In this role, youll collaborate with other social channel leads to ideate and execute campaigns, develop video and photo content, manage channels and communities, track trends, and oversee competitive analysis, reporting, and audience sentiment.

Youll also identify partnership opportunities and serve as the eyes and ears of our online community.

This role is ideal for a social media-savvy creative with 5+ years of experience overseeing content and communities for talent, entertainment brands, or lifestyle platforms. Youll be responsible for crafting shot lists, developing concepts, repurposing existing assets, and capturing social-first video and photo content on the ground.

Were also looking for someone with strong creator and editing skills, a deep understanding of social-native content, and a pulse on trends and the competitive landscape. Youre equal parts big thinker and detail-oriented executorready to generate fresh ideas, pivot quickly, and keep content exciting and engaging.

You also have a keen sense of audience engagement, using insights and data to refine strategy and tell a compelling social story.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the strategy conversation; oversee and execute content creation and platform management for high level talent and high-profile social channels
  • Collaborate with social leads to produce and execute supporting content for projects
  • Handle reporting for social channels
  • Hands-on content creation:You'll use your video editing and content creation skills to produce elevated content with relevant apps and tools
  • Community management and building across all social media channels. An innate understanding of social media trends, strategy, data, and conversations
  • Understand data and audience sentiment to create content that shapes culture and drives reach and engagement
  • Understand and serve as the voice of the channel/ brand to deliver an authentic, audience-centric content experience
  • Responsible for growing the audience and building the editorial strategy that will attract new audiences and create reach, discoverability, and conversation
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience creating content for a large publication, media company, lifestyle brand, personality, or entertainment brand
  • Strong content creation skills (photography, videography, editing, and writing)
  • Experience working with high-profile talent
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and/or Premiere); CapCut; and Canva
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude toward content creation. Highly motivated to learn and create; have a can-do attitude
  • Experience maintaining and growing social audiences across multiple platforms
  • Self-starter and creative thinker with astute attention to detail, you are proactive and able to work on tight deadlines
  • Strong writer (creative, editorial, and ghostwriter for a brand or personality)
  • Highly organized and able to use data to tell a story and direct strategy
  • Youre able to come up with big ideas, both one-off and campaign based
  • Meticulous attention to detail and well-versed in managing multiple editorial and social calendars
  • Strong knowledge of, or passion for social media, the entertainment industry, pop-culture, and trends

Benefits

This position has an estimated base salary range between $115,000 - $135,000
