Supply Chain Specialist

This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the sourcing process for assigned business areas in collaboration with internal legal experts and ISC personnel.
• Analyze responses to bid requests, distill commercial differences, and make succinct recommendations for supplier selection.
• Conduct negotiations and lead sourcing project teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business units and suppliers.
• Provide market data to support supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing performance management.
• Participate in sourcing data analysis, forecasting, and planning.
• Develop new sources of supply and monitor ongoing supplier performance.
• Assist in managing the external spend.
• Conduct business dealings with the highest level of integrity and regard for corporate guidelines and legal and environmental regulations.
• Drive down the total cost of ownership by developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies.
• Undergraduate degree with a preference in Supply Chain Management Business Engineering or related fields preferred.
• Must have 1 years of supply chain/procurement experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with procurement and supply chain management.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and materials handling.
• Strong leadership skills with prior supervising experience.
• Ability to execute plans, forecast, and monitor progress.
• Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Experience with staffing and onboarding processes.
• Skill in negotiation with suppliers.
• Customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
