National Account Manager, Cruise Lines

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly qualified National Account Manager, Cruise Lines to join our team, based in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The individual will be instrumental in managing Kobrand’s cruise line business, driving growth and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.This position requires strategic vision, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the cruise line industry to support and develop our partnerships and business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Relationship Management: Drive sales growth with cruise lines by building and maintaining strong relationships with Cruise Line Buyers, Purchasers, and Chandlers. Ensure alignment with company goals and provide effective follow-up to capitalize on key account opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and business objectives are advanced
- Analysis & Business Development: Analyze cruise company performance and sales trends, prepare and present business reviews, and respond to RFPs with a consultative approach. Ensure that all business decisions are made with a deep understanding of financial impacts, carefully balancing revenue growth with cost efficiency and profitability. Use data-driven insights to identify sales opportunities and develop strategies that support business growth, while ensuring program compliance and maintaining a high level of fiduciary responsibility
- Logistics & Inventory Management: Work closely with the logistics team to manage order flow and monitor inventory to ensure no out-of-stocks. Manage inventory levels and order processes with a strong focus on financial efficiency, ensuring costs are controlled and resources optimized to meet business needs without overextension
- Wine Training and Education: Provide training to cruise management and staff enhance on-board knowledge and confidence in selling our products, which supports increased sales and visibility. Conduct consumer wine events and dinners on board as contracted with cruise management
- Collaboration: Work with internal brand teams to develop ideas and tools to drive success and advance business objectives while ensuring alignment of customer needs with company strategies
- Administrative Excellence: Handle internal paperwork such as expenses, trackers, budget requests and reviews with precision. Meet all deadlines while maintaining strict adherence to financial guidelines and budgetary controls to ensure fiscal responsibility
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Beverage Alcohol industry
- Proven success managing cruise lines, with at least 2 years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key buyers, purchasers and chandlers
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong relationship-building skills with a proactive, efficient approach
- Excellent follow-up, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Professional and personable demeanor with strong oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized, with strong problem-solving and creative abilities
- High integrity, responsibility, and commitment to doing the right things for the right reasons
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage all job responsibilities, including those outside of comfort zones
- Comprehensive knowledge of products, the wine industry, competitive markets, and customer needs
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and Microsoft Office
- Passion and knowledge of wine, wine regions, and the wine industry (CSW/WSET a plus)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is required
- Must be able to comfortably lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch daily
- Must be able to travel, including overnight trips, up to 30% of the time
