Collections Specialist

You will be working onsite Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in customer service activities and resolve customer inquiries.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions to ensure timely payments.
• Follow-up with customers who are past due on their payments through phone calls and emails.
• Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications and accounts.
• Update customer accounts and perform data entry tasks as needed.
• Send out notices to customers via email, voicemail, and mail.
• Utilize MS Office to accomplish tasks and manage customer data.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Adapt to the fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Learn and implement new processes or procedures as required by the role.
• Possess at least 1 year of collections experience
• Demonstrated skills in customer service
• Experience in consumer collections
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of collections regulations and best practices.
