We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Bilingual (Spanish speaking) Administrative Coordinator in the non-profit sector, based in Hyattsville, Maryland. The chosen candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks, including communication, coordination with local programs, and independent work on a health project.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the main line during weekdays, ensuring effective communication with various stakeholders
  • Proactively reach out to local neighborhood youth programs to gather necessary information for a health project
  • Ensure smooth operation by independently handling tasks and achieving results
  • Contribute to team efforts while handling and distributing calls received on the main line
  • Responsible for patient scheduling and ensuring a smooth workflow in the organization
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as required by specific tasks.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative role, preferably in a non-profit environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating administrative activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Experience in a non-profit environment is an asset but not required.
  • A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
