Senior Accountant

Financial services company seeks a Senior Accounting with strong financial reporting abilities and general ledger maintenance. As the Senior Accountant, you will oversee the general ledger system, assist with preparing accruals, support tax compliance, prepare annual tax filings, complete bank reconciliations, draft financial reports, coordinate the month end/year end close prepare data for monthly journal entries, assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliation, perform account reconciliations, assist with the annual audit process, maintain financial records, and perform financial analysis as needed.
The successful candidate for this role will have sharp analytical skills, excellent time management abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
How you will make an impact- Implement revenue generating control systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Complete month close general ledger activities
- KPI Tracking
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Review trust accounting transactions
- Budget Management
- Internal/External Audits
- Assist with tax filing/compliance
- Perform account reconciliation
The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:
- 3+++ years corporate accounting experience
- Power BI or similar experience preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- QuickBooks a plus
- Excellent communication skills
