Warehouse and Parts Associate
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly - Starting Pay $18
Summary
Responsible for the expedient and accurate handling of inventory into and out of the warehouse and yard facilities including counter sales, receiving, storage, staging for upcoming service and construction jobs, transferring and shipping of inventory operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare orders by processing transfers and sales orders. This includes:
- Pulling materials
- Packing boxes
- Placing orders in designated delivery areas
- - Ensure all materials are received and staged for upcoming projects in accordance with the project tracker calendar
- Perform physical inventory count activities, product movement and placement
- Perform duties required for receive, pick, pack, transfer and ship activities with respect to quality and productivity standards
- Perform all functions relating to an internal or external customer’s needs including counter sales, warranty returns, and cash and credit sales
- Maintain appearance of the retail/counter sales area
- Maintain appearance of external inventory yard and surrounding areas (inclusive of seasonal mowing)
- Participate in meeting customer-service standards and abide by Company policies and procedures
- Develop warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work-flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout; implement changes
- Work in a safe and healthy work manner, following industry standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

- Minimum High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18
- Must be able to work under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Ability to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- General knowledge of modern warehouse and inventory control systems.
- Experience with warehouse physical inventory count activities, shipping, receiving, and storage.
- Must have a current, valid regular operator (Class D) driving license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to operate a forklift, certification preferred

Normal Work Days / Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, with 45 minutes for lunch
