The HRIS Manager is responsible acting as a systems administrator, ensuring maintenance and data integrity, for the various Human Resource Information Systems in place. implementation. Responsibilities of the role may include system implementations, oversight of system functionality, ensuring data accuracy, optimization of workflows, training, and rollouts.

The incumbent will be collaborating with HR and HRIS implementation teams to enhance process efficiencies by fully leveraging system capabilities. The HRIS Manager is a key part of the HR team, ensuring the integrity and security of HR data, processes, and procedures.

The HRIS Manager serves as an independent, self-driven HR professional, but also frequently collaborates with other members of the HR team, including HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and HR specialists in Staffing and Learning & Development (L&D), to support the overall mission of the organization and promote alignment of programs and goals across Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America (MTPA).

The incumbent must posses sound knowledge of the HR life cycle and associated process to ensure key processes can be automated into system capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Leads HRIS activities by overseeing the day to day operations and maintenance of the HRIS system(s) by ensuring efficiency and data integrity. Acts as HR Liaison with integration team(s) on all HRIS related upgrades, enhancements, and implementation of new features or system optimizations through data integrity, reporting / analysis, and training.

  • Maintains employee records within HRIS systems(s), ensuring all data is accurate, current, and complete while also maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Ensures HRIS compliance with all relevant labor laws, data security regulations, and organizational standards.
  • Conducts regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies, ensuring employee data reflects real-time accuracy.
  • Creates & maintain process guides and provide support to HR/management team on the correct procedures for inputting data and utilizing the HRIS systems effectively.
  • Partners across HR and with cross-functional leads to set up processes/projects for success to include tracking against project plans, to ensure deadlines are met and potential roadblocks and risks are anticipated, escalated, and resolved.
  • Ability to capture notes and action items in key meetings, and regularly sending out status reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Creates training materials, implement, and execute training plans and lead related change management efforts where applicable.

Compiles and analyzes HR data and metrics leveraging HRIS, LMS and ATS systems. Uses that information to identify possible program gaps and inefficiencies and then makes sound recommendations for program improvements to the HR Team. For particularly complex issues, may be asked to oversee a small team tasked with that analysis.

  • Ability to create/generate metrics and workforce analysis reporting including but not limited to support HR turnover, exit interview, performance management, and headcount data to support HR related initiatives.
Provides backup support to HR Coordinator ensuring critical day-to-day tasks related to New Hires are completed in addition to other key tasks.
  • Supports the pre/post-employment processes (preparing offer letters, initiating background check screenings, and onboarding initiatives, delivering New Hire Orientation and fields questions from new hires within the U.S. and Canada.
  • Works on ad hoc, confidential projects for Dept. Head / HR Team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Human Resource Management, or a related area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 3 years of HRIS administration.
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS(s) including but not limited to Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Learning Management Systems
  • Familiar with HR processes and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Strong project and time management skills; ability to determine upcoming priorities, devise plan(s), and communicate status pro-actively to all impacted stakeholders
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to deliver effective results and meet tight deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software computer skills
  • Agile and comfortable working in a challenging environment with multiple competing deadlines.

The salary range for this position is $97,000 - $125,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.

This salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.

This position is eligible to participate in our annual Short-Term Incentive (STI) program. Specific information about the plan including eligibility rules and target, will be furnished upon hire.
