Title Clerk

The role also involves monitoring customer accounts and implementing appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Research, resolve, and respond to inquiries coming through the title email box.
• Receive, scan, barcode, and file incoming titles.
• Pull requested titles, reassign them to buyers, and complete lien releases and/or affidavits when needed.
• Request duplicate titles as needed.
• Call for titles/MSO not yet received for vehicle purchases.
• Store unprocessed titles in a fireproof cabinet.
• Ensure correct reassignment and prompt mailing of titles.
• Document research and updates in necessary systems.
• Maintain a ‘Best practice sharing culture’, striving to find ways to improve service.
• Proven experience as a Title Clerk or in a similar role
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent; further training will be a plus
