Physician Assistant – Neurosurgical ICU (High Pay Range)

Qualifications:

• NYS licensed/registered and NCCPA certified (or eligible) Physician Assistant.
• Must have NPI number and be Medicare enrolled or eligible within six months of hire.
• CPR, ACLS, and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in neurosurgery or neurocritical care.

Duties:

• Manages neurosurgical patients in the ICU, including those with traumatic brain injuries.
• Performs neurological exams and evaluates intracranial pressure monitoring.
• Assists in neurosurgical procedures such as craniotomies and spinal fusions.
• Orders and interprets MRIs, CT scans, and neurovascular imaging.
• Provides post-operative care, pain management, and rehabilitation planning.

Pay: High weekly pay range: $3,500 - $4,500 per week
