Survey Data Technician - Memphis
Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey Data Technician to join our team in Tennessee! Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Jackson, TN.
Our professionals have the expertise to achieve highly accurate results while maintaining quality control over data collected, from field to office, and precision of the final client deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming applications for TDOT (TN Department of Transportation).
- Conduct in office research prior to field inspections.
- Perform inspections for various types of applications for outdoor advertising, junkyard compliance, and special projects.
- Use GIS equipment to collect data.
- Communicate and coordinate with TDOT and other contractors.
- Ensure all permits meet State, Federal, and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Intermediate computer skills is required.
- Prior experience with GIS is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record is required. MVR will be checked and monitored.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Requires a pre-employment drug screen and will require ongoing participation in the employer's random drug and alcohol testing program.
