Receptionist

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the south metro, Minnesota area. Our client needs coverage on December 26th and 27th with potential for extending the first week of January. This role involves handling front desk operations, ensuring efficient communication within the organization, and providing a welcoming environment for visitors. Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication within the organization by answering and transferring incoming calls
• Maintain building security by regulating access, including letting people into the building
• Manage incoming postal communications by gathering mail and notifying the accounting department when it's available at the front desk
• Creating badges for incoming clients
• Uphold a high standard of customer service by addressing and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
• Use basic office skills to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient task completion
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in answering multi-line phone systems
• Demonstrable basic office skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency with office software, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
