Diesel Mechanic
Report equipment breakdowns and prepare detailed work orders. Maintain equipment cleanliness and safety, adhering to operational standards.
The role requires physical fitness to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb heights up to 50 feet, as well as lifting up to 50 lbs. Knowledge of truck electrical systems, air brake components, mobile AC systems, hydraulic components, driveline, and suspension is essential.Flexibility for 12+ hour shifts, nights, and weekends is necessary. Clear communication and attentive listening skills are required for success.

Responsibilities- Provide mechanical maintenance, including repairs and lubrication.
- Repair and maintain air brakes, vehicle air conditioning, and hydraulics.
- Repair and maintain truck electrical systems, i.e., 12v &/or 24 vdc.
- Report equipment breakdowns to generate work orders.
- Prepare work orders
- Keeps the equipment being operated, clean and safe.
