Manufacturing Operations Engineer

Our client in East Hanover, NJ is hiring a new Manufacturing Operations Engineer at their facility.

Job Description:

• Provide technical support and guidance for improving the financial performance of existing programs and developing standards for new programs
• Analyze existing processes using data and present proposals on improvements
• Implementation and verification of acceptance of proposed improvements
• Work with cost accountants to understand opportunities for improvement to the process which will lead to improved financial performance
• Work with cost estimator and sales teams to develop standard cost for new programs
• Provide Engineering skills and services to continually improve the productivity and quality of all departments within the Company
• Have a proven track record of success in a high-volume precision metal stamping environment and be passionate about driving continuous improvement and innovation
• Work with finance to identify cost savings opportunities and implement cost improvement projects
