Overview:

Coordinate complex, competing projects and provide comprehensive administrative support to the entire R&D department. Assigned tasks include but are not limited to; managing R&D Director and Manager calendars and travel schedules, creating budget summaries, managing the Mutual Confidentiality Agreement process, paid time off and cell phone programs, and other related work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the entire Culinary Innovation team acheiving timelines of multiple, competing fast-paced projects. Create and distribute time-sensitive, confidential reports and presentations to various levels of executive management. Manage complex calendars for the team, coordinate travel, and expense report entry and submission. Actively seeks opportunities to streamline processes. Be a positive team champion finding ways to help the team work more effectively while creating a positive place to work.
  • Ensure that monthly budget tracking is completed by the second-third week of each period. Create high level summaries of top 6 spend areas.
  • Manage the Mutual Confidentiality Agreement (MCA) process. Acts as a liaison between Culinary Innovation team members, Wendy's legal team and suppliers throughout the entire initiation and approval process. Maintain a database with all MCA requests; tracking the approval process and ensuring renewal on a timely basis.
  • Provide administrative support for all food related innovation team hosted events including BOD, WNAP, FAC meetings, New Franchise Orientation, etc. Assure that the facility is appropriately set up in advance of event and approapriately broken down. Take accountability for signage.
  • Complete data searches and complete trend summary reports on a quarterly basis. Proactively share with VP, team and Marketing teams as requested. Complete city specific trend analysis as requested and appropriate travel needs in support of trend/inspiration exploration.
  • Manage IT needs for the team including computers, phones, as well as shared IT resources (meeting rooms, conf. calls, kitchen needs).

Minimum Wage: USD $19.00/Hr.

Maximum Wage: USD $32.00/Hr.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of increasingly responsible executive administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Possess excellent proficiencies of Microsoft Office Suite Software.
  • Success managing multiple and diverse projects/tasks with strong attention to details.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction; able to work under pressure and limited time constraints; manage frequent changing priorities.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors.

This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. * The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
