The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP II) will focus on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. The main responsibility of an HRBP is to consult employees and managers to provide guidance and solutions on various HR matters, for an assigned customer group.
The HRBP will work closely with the Bertrandt HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and management team to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the overall goals for the organization. The HRBP will implement HR best practices to foster a positive organizational culture, and drive performance and growth.
This role is fully REMOTE, but must be based in the northern Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Expected Compensation$85,000 - $90,000/annual salary + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and acts as a trusted advisor.
- Provide guidance and support on performance management, employee relations, talent development, employee engagement and retention.
- Assess and support organizational workforce initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition (COE) team to ensure the organization has the right talent, including helping managers to scope out roles and create Job Descriptions.
- Partner and lead with Head of HR to conduct a marketplace compensation study to guide management on salaries for job offers, pay increases, promotions, and other job changes.
- Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on various HR topics.
- Lead and implement a Performance Management Program, (including talent development programs, such as succession planning, etc.).
- Partner with leaders to manage employee engagement and retention (i.e., Partner with head of HR to implement an annual employee survey, etc.).
- Keep skills up to date on HR best practices and industry trends.
- In partnership with other team members, support immigration processes.
- Maintain up to date HR processes on HR Process Template. Review HR processes once a quarter and edit.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 – 9 years’ experience in Human Resources. Experience supporting a client group as an HR Business Partner.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic thinking.

- Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- SHRM Certification
- Experience supporting clients as a HR Business Partner
- Automotive experience
