Inventory Clerk

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk, located in Wilton, Connecticut, United States. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be tasked with managing and organizing incoming shipments, processing online orders, and maintaining accurate stock records.

• Handle the breakdown and organization of inbound shipments
• Verify and check all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Execute the processing of online orders in a timely manner
• Activate warranty cards as per the standard operating procedures
• Maintain stock levels and ensure its accuracy
• Input long numbers into systems with attention to detail
• Stand for duration of the shift while performing clerical duties efficiently.
• Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and best practices is required.
• Proficiency in clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
• Familiarity with inventory software and databases is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, moving, and counting inventory items.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, especially in inventory discrepancies.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing setting.
