Account Executive (Insurance Broker)
What can you expect?
This role will be for an early career broker who is looking to improve their skill set across a range of insurance and non-insurance products for a variety of industries. The candidate is required to be an organised self-starter who is motivated to proactively manage the interactions with our client as a part of a team and work to strengthen and grow account relationships.It is important to show an in depth understanding of our client through research into their key risks, emerging industry issues and preparing benchmarking studies.

We will count on you to:
Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and pro-actively responding to these needsImplement renewal and broking strategies based on clients needs as required
Processing billing requests and gathering information for quotes
Develop and maintain sound working relationships with insurers and assist with negotiations
Maintain outstanding renewals, credit control and other necessary reporting over client portfolio
Recognize new business opportunities (new or expanded) and act as appropriate on them in a timely manner
Introduce new products or broader policies as appropriate
What you need to have:
Clear and effective communication skillsAbility to work autonomously within a multi skilled team
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, meet deadlines and good time management skills.
Excellent client service ability to be able to anticipate client needs and exceed them
Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results
Attention to detail
Ability to recognize and solve problems and think outside the square
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher
