We are seeking a diligent Payroll Clerk to oversee all tasks necessary to accomplish our organization's payroll processing activities. This role involves collecting timesheet data of each employee, calculating wages and making payments, and solving any payroll discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify timesheets.
- Calculate employee working hours, commissions, bonuses, deductions, etc.
- Prepare employees’ compensation by the end of each period.
- Maintain payroll processing system and records.
- Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions.
- Proven experience as a payroll clerk.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs (e.g., Quickbooks).
- Strong mathematical and numerical skills.
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
