Position Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and providing quality patient care during imaging procedures. This role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Proficiency with relevant imaging equipment.
Education:
- A valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or in radiation therapy issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
- Post-primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
- High school diploma or GED.
Certifications & Licenses:
- Radiologic Technologist license.
- BLS certification preferred.
Languages: Proficiency in English (speak, read, write).
Schedule Notes:
- Shift Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Weekends and holidays may be required.
- In-person interviews are highly preferred; virtual (Teams) interviews are open if necessary.
