Accountant - Part Time, Flexible

Our company is looking for a Part-Time Accountant who is eager to return to the workforce or is semi-retired and seeking to supplement their income. This role will require approximately 20 hours of work per week.

The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge and understanding of GAAP Accounting and has considerable experience with General Ledger functions, with a substantial emphasis on expense processing, accounts payable, and purchasing.

1. Compliance with financial accounting principles, including GAAP.
2. Undertaking general ledger duties and managing accounts payable.
3. Processing business expenses accurately and effectively.
4. Supervising company purchasing to ensure accurate accounting.
5. Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels to guarantee transparent and seamless operations.
6. Demonstrating initiative and working independently to fulfill job responsibilities.
7. Assisting with monthly and quarterly reports, year-end process, and other required financial documentation.
