Junior IT Support

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and Junior IT Support Administrator that will provide technical support to our internal staff, assist with maintenance or our IT infrastructure, user account creation and administration, and picking up jobs from the queue.

Please note, this position is not remote.

Job Responsibilities

Provide technical support to internal staff via phone, email, and in person
Pick up calls from the queue and assist users with technical issues
Troubleshoots or repairs problems with hardware, software, and office equipment
Monitor and maintain workstations and other end-user devices
Monitor and maintain user permissions and rights
Sets up new users on phones, voicemail, cellular phones, pagers, software systems and train new users on communication equipment
Keep accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware and software inventory
Assist with user training and IT education as needed

Role Requirements

Diploma in Computer Science or related fields, or relevant work expereince in IT Support or a related field
Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts
Familiarity with Windows and Mac Operating systems
Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office
Proven expereince in building and maintaining software
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
