If you do repairs or maintenance or have aptitude to do so; have worked at a quick lube or independent shop, this is a rare opportunity for you to become a factory trained technician.Additionally, for the right individual, certification testing and tools will be provided as you Earn while you Learn a lifelong career.
Job Purpose- Testing to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
- Follow a checklist in ensuring that each critical part of vehicle is inspected such as hoses, belts, fuel systems, tires, brakes and other possible troublesome items.
- Using hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers to work on small-scale parts and when needed, power tools like pneumatic wrenches to remove bolts easily and quickly.
- Good knowledge of automobiles and light duty trucks
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Good reading, basic math skills, and computer literate
- Ability to learn new technology, service and repair procedures and understanding specifications
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment is a plus
- Must have at least a High School diploma/GED
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug test, credit report, and valid drivers license
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
