Bookkeeper

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Miami, Florida. The selected candidate will be part of a team that manages a variety of financial tasks, including processing transactions, maintaining financial records, and communicating with vendors.
This role is situated within a small office setting and requires proficient skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain financial information
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage bookkeeping tasks and transactions
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for intermediate level tasks
- Engage in account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with the team to execute month-end close procedures
- Communicate with insurance vendors extensively as part of the role
- Handle payroll duties to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
- Craft professional emails to facilitate effective communication within the team and with external parties.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Demonstrated skill in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
- Proven ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Expertise in performing Bank Reconciliations
- Solid background in Bookkeeping
- Strong Data Entry skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in executing Month End Close processes
- Knowledge of Payroll management
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks software
