How you’ll make an impact:
The Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a key member of the operations leadership team, responsible for driving the strategic direction of the organization's technology and information systems. The CIO oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity policies, and digital transformation initiatives.This individual ensures that technology investments align with organizational goals, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver value to stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
Strategic Leadership- Develop and execute the organization’s IT and digital transformation strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
- Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential to enhance the company’s competitive advantage.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and other executives on technological innovations and trends.
- Planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and business development.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT operations and applications.
- Establish IT policies, standards, and procedures to guide the organization’s operations.Cybersecurity and Risk Management
- Develop and enforce a robust cybersecurity strategy to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Mitigate risks by implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Define and manage IT departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure service quality.
- Act as a liaison between IT and other departments, ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience with 10+ years in IT leadership roles and a proven track record of managing large-scale IT operations.
- Experience with digital transformation, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the current and changing technology landscape.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
