We have a great opportunity for a highly motivated, service-oriented part-time Receptionist to join a client's team in Mendota Heights. In this contract to hire role, you will be instrumental in creating the first impression for all visitors and will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day administrative operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, answer inquiries, and direct guests to appropriate departments.
- Answer and manage incoming calls; direct calls to appropriate staff or take messages.
- Manage the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.
- Oversee and ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, typing, copying, binding, and scanning as needed.
- Prepare conference rooms for meetings and manage calendar scheduling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the front office.
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- At least 1-2 years of receptionist or related experience
