Staff Accountant

We are on the search for a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital role in managing our financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy of our financial reports, and contributing to the overall financial stability of our organization.

• Ensuring accurate financial data and compliance with accounting standards through the management and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and reconciliations
• Managing and reporting accurate cash flow through monthly bank reconciliations
• Overseeing the Fixed Asset module in Business Central 365
• Managing inventory levels including valuation and reconciliation of beverage inventory and related cost accounting
• Assisting in the budgeting process and financial forecasting to support strategic planning
• Assisting with special projects, such as audits, when required
• Undertaking other duties and projects as assigned
• Processing and recording journal entries and month-end close procedures • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of accounting.
• Proficient in conducting bank reconciliations.
• Demonstrated ability in managing and maintaining the general ledger.
• Skilled in making journal entries accurately and efficiently.
• Capable of handling month end close activities with minimal supervision.
