We are offering an exciting opportunity for a vCIO in New York. In this role, you will be working closely with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges, developing comprehensive IT strategies and conducting thorough technology assessments.

You will also be responsible for risk management, vendor management, budgeting and resource allocation, project management, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and address their challenges with strategic IT planning.
  • Conduct comprehensive technology assessments to evaluate clients' current IT infrastructure and systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to optimize technology investments.
  • Assess cybersecurity risks and implement measures to enhance data security, staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize value for clients.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets in close collaboration with clients, ensuring efficient resource allocation to support technology initiatives and projects.
  • Oversee the implementation of IT projects, ensuring their timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide guidance to project teams and ensure effective communication with clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic guidance on technology-related matters.
  • Prepare and present quarterly business reviews for select clients, tracking recommendations as opportunities, presenting proposals, and ensuring clients are aware of risks associated with delaying implementations. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Azure
  • Expertise in Windows Server
  • Proficient in Office 365
  • Experience with VMware
  • Knowledge of Cisco Networking
  • A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering or a related qualification
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proven track record of managing IT infrastructure and services
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
