We are searching for a talented Patient Access Rep-Rehab
*$1,200 new hire sign-on bonus for this position. (rehires termed more than 1 year also eligible)*
Hours: 32hrs
Shift: Day shift; Mon, Tues, Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Wed 10:00am - 6:30pm
Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Responsibilities:Under general supervision of the Team Leader, Rehab Operations, perform a variety of office support, coordination of various patient care processes and other related duties in accordance with established Rehabilitation Services department policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED is required.
- Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
- Duties require knowledge of medical terminology. Proficient keyboarding skills are essential.
- Computer experience a must.
- Must possess strong reasoning and critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask throughout the business day.
- Exceptional customer service skills are required.
- Over three years of related medical office work experience is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range: USD $16.39 - USD $27.50 /Hr.
