Business Systems Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-to-senior level consulting resource with demonstrated expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution implementations that support Operational Risk Management use cases.

This resource will provide actionable consulting as well as hands-on implementation support to Santander US during the implementation of a new GRC solution in 2025, with the possibility of an extension into 2026.

The consultant will assist with determining an overall GRC solution strategy, as well as defining use cases, gathering requirements, system design, configuration, data migrations, integrations, testing, release readiness, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult on overall GRC solution strategy and implementation
• Lead use case definition, requirements gathering, system design, configuration, data migrations, integrations, testing, and release readiness
• Provide subject matter expertise in system design and configuration
• Facilitate effective meetings with clearly stated objectives, ensuring desired outcomes
• Engage with stakeholders and business partners to ensure requirements are understood and documented
• Work closely with Business Line Subject Matter Experts to document processes
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills

Core Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software implementation consulting
• In-depth, hands-on experience across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with enterprise-scale GRC solution implementations in financial institutions
• Proven ability to guide and advise on system design and configuration
• Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills
• Fluent in English

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Snowflake, SAP GRC, Microsoft SharePoint, and possibly ServiceNow IRM
