Plumber Corrections Facility
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00/hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Schedule: Monday – Friday + Mandatory On-Call Rotation
Location: Must live within 45 minutes of the facility
Are you an experienced commercial/industrial plumber looking for a stable, long-term opportunity? We are seeking skilled plumbers to join our team at a correctional facility in Decatur, GA. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on all plumbing systems, including drains, fire sprinklers, sewage, steam systems, and more.
What You Will Do:
- Maintain, inspect, and repair plumbing systems and components
- Perform preventive maintenance on fire hydrants, water heaters, pressure valves, and gas distribution lines
- Respond to on-call emergency repairs, including after-hours work
- Coordinate with outside contractors when needed
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and SDS protocols
What We Are Looking For:
- 3+ years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing installation, repair, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a lifelong background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening
- Licensing in applicable trade preferred
