Licensed Electrician, Residential Energy Service

The ideal candidate will provide electrical expertise that will contribute to the overall success of servicing Tesla’s energy products. All necessary training, tools and equipment will be provided, including a company vehicle for some positions.

• Work with peers and leadership to evaluate job requirements and cost
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical component and system issues
• Lead efforts on safe work practices for the Field Operations team
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the process by educating customers about the product(s) and offering real-time updates on job status
• Document and update job status in the company database
• Attend training sessions and weekly team meetings on new products, maintenance methodology and safety
• Perform other related duties, as assigned
• Valid Journeyman Electrician card within the state employee is assigned
• Ability to navigate NEC guidelines and knowledge of NFPA 70E practices
• Previous electrical trades experience working with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, isolation meters and multimeters
• Ability to travel to numerous sites daily and travel up to 2 weeks at a time with short notice and flexibility to work on weekends and overtime
• Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, lift at least 50 pounds frequently
• Valid driver's license required
