Accounting Clerk

We are currently seeking an organized and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our client's company. The Accounting Clerk will be primarily responsible for maintaining and reviewing financial records, processing financial documents, and keeping an accurate record of the company’s financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and reconcile invoices, checks, statements, journals, and financial reports.
- Handle basic bookkeeping and support the accounting department in daily tasks.
- Process accounts payable and receivable in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end financial reporting.
- High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in accounting or a related field is a plus.
- Understanding of, or ability to learn, accepted accounting practices and principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Previous experience with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks) is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and has the ability to multi-task.
