Accounting Manager

We are on the hunt for a skilled Accounting Manager to join our team, primarily based in Lexington, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions within our company, particularly in relation to clinical trial accruals and R& D finance support.
This position operates within the pharmaceutical industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage clinical trial accruals to ensure financial accuracy.
- Provide robust support for R& D finance-related activities.
- Utilize various accounting software systems to maintain financial records and perform accounting functions.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Use BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to streamline accounting processes.
- Conduct regular auditing of financial transactions and records.
- Handle billing functions, ensuring all invoices are issued and paid in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the ADP - Financial Services team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Continually update and maintain accurate customer credit records.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must.
- Proficiency in using BlackLine software is essential.
- Familiarity with Concur software is a requirement.
- Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary.
- Ability to perform various accounting functions effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Proven experience in auditing is required.
- Ability to manage billing functions effectively.
