As a Veterinary Assistant at Valley Animal Hospital, you’ll work alongside our veterinary technicians and doctors, assisting in patient care and ensuring our hospital runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in patient exams and treatments
- Preparing animals for surgery and helping in the surgery room
- Performing basic laboratory tasks (such as processing lab samples)
- Blood draws
- Assisting in radiology and dental procedures
- Providing compassionate care to our patients and excellent service to their owners

- You’re an experienced Veterinary Assistant with a passion for patient care and teamwork.
- Detail-Oriented and Compassionate: You are efficient in your work and always maintain a compassionate approach to handling animals.
- Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment, contributing to the overall success and flexibility of the hospital.
- You’re eager to learn and grow, willing to assist with a variety of tasks to support the needs of the practice.
Schedule:
- Full-time position with flexible hours. Shifts are a mix of 6-9 hour days with alternating Saturdays.
