Plant Managercost Manager

This role will lead budgeting, forecasting, standard cost management, and inventory valuation, while working cross-functionally to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across all departments.

• Lead all financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the division, ensuring profitability and cost optimization.
• Drive financial performance by providing strategic guidance on revenue growth, cost management, and margin improvement.

• Oversee the development and maintenance of standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Ensure accurate valuation of inventory and lead initiatives to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
• Implement and monitor cost control measures to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

• Act as a key financial advisor to the VP of Finance and divisional leadership team.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Provide financial modeling and insights to support decision-making and long-term planning.

• Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies and GAAP.
• Lead financial audits, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting.

• Own the divisions budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate projections and financial insights.
• Present monthly financial performance reports, highlighting variances and actionable recommendations.

• Identify opportunities to streamline financial and operational processes, leveraging automation where possible.
• Recommend and lead system improvements, including ERP enhancements for cost tracking and reporting.

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field is required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or divisional financial leadership.
• Experience with full P&L ownership, manufacturing finance, and standard costing required.
• Detail-oriented personality with strong analytical skills.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
• Travel required to our manufacturing facility in Sandpoint, ID (if based in RI office)
