We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees by overseeing and managing safety programs, policies, and compliance efforts. The Safety Manager will collaborate with various departments to identify potential hazards, recommend safety improvements, and ensure the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and industry standards. Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in [industry-specific details, e.g., manufacturing, construction, etc.].
  • Experience with OSHA regulations and other safety compliance standards.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing safety programs and procedures.
  • Certifications:
  • OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification (preferred).
  • First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
  • Skills:
  • Well rounded knowledge of safety laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Thorough interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to lead safety initiatives and foster a safety-first culture.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Safety Program Development & Implementation: Develop and implement safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations. Promote a safety culture and conduct training for employees.
  • Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification: Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards. Advise on mitigation and corrective actions. Investigate accidents and recommend preventive measures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other safety standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain safety records, incident logs, and regulatory reports. Analyze trends and report safety performance to management.
  • Safety Equipment & PPE Management: Oversee the use, maintenance, and proper handling of safety equipment and PPE.
  • Emergency Preparedness & Response: Develop and manage emergency response plans. Conduct safety drills and coordinate with response teams.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with department heads to integrate safety measures into operations. Serve as the primary contact for safety concerns and ensure effective communication across the organization.
