The Role:
- Troubleshoot and repair essential production machines using your knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical systems.
- Analyze breakdowns, identify root causes, and ensure quality repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
- Perform planned and unexpected repairs on building equipment.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to quality standards.
- Utilize computerized maintenance software to document activities.
- Operate forklifts, personnel lifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Make steel fabrications using metalworking skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
- strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of machinery, tools, and their repair/maintenance needs.
- Ability to safely operate machining equipment and material handling tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals.
- Ability to operate machine tools for precise part creation/repair.
- Available for full-time (40 hrs/week), 2nd shift OR 3rd shift opportunities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
- Excellent vision and ability to adjust focus for quality verification.

Responsibilities- Analyzing break-downs, identifying root cause of problems and making repairs on a variety of grinding equipment used on CNC machines.
- Read and review mechanical and electrical print diagrams and technical repair manuals
- Execute planned and unexpected repairs of all building equipment
- Demonstrate safety and quality standards when installing and repairing machinery
- Record all maintenance activities using computerized maintenance software
- Make steel fabrications utilizing measuring, cutting, bending and welding techniques
- Operate personnel lifts and material handling equipment
- Other duties as assigned
