Staff Accountant - growth opportunity
Our client, a local mid-sized company, has an immediate need for a staff accountant. The staff accountant will report directly to an accounting manager and will be primarily responsible for month end journal entries.

Duties include:
- Recording journal entries
- Maintaining balance sheet schedules
- Preparing financial reports, such as income statements
- Overseeing accounts payable
- Managing general ledger accounts
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidates for the staff accountant position should have 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience, or minimal experience and a bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting. A working knowledge of MS Excel will also be required.
