Senior Project Manager W Tx

Our company has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a Senior Project Manager with expertise in Data Migration and System Integration to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data migration processes and be adept in systems integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage data migration and system integration projects from inception to completion
• Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and deliverables
• Oversee data conversion and migration strategy, ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and external vendors, to ensure successful delivery of project objectives
• Utilize knowledge of Retail Electricity or Natural Gas markets in deregulated environments to inform project strategy and execution
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in data handling and system integration processes
• Provide regular project updates, status reports, and detailed documentation for senior management and stakeholders
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, mentoring and guiding team members as needed

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data migration and system integration projects
• Proven experience in Retail Electricity or Natural Gas markets, specifically in deregulated environments such as ERCOT and PJM markets
• Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
