The Role:

You will be responsible for managing packaging-related projects from concept to implementation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in packaging operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute packaging projects, including the development, qualification, and implementation of new packaging materials, formats, and equipment.
  • Identify and implement improvements in packaging processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain) to design and validate packaging solutions that meet industry and company standards.
  • Ensure all packaging components and processes comply with global regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, GMP, ISO).
  • Work closely with external suppliers to develop and qualify new packaging materials and technologies.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and validation of packaging equipment and automated systems.
  • Investigate packaging-related issues, implement corrective actions, and mitigate risks associated with packaging design and processes.
  • Support the development and implementation of eco-friendly packaging solutions in line with corporate sustainability goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Packaging, or a related field).
  • Experience in packaging engineering within the Life-Sciences industry.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design principles, and equipment used in packaging manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA, EMA, and other global regulatory requirements related to packaging.
  • Experience in project management, including cross-functional collaboration and vendor management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
