Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our media team, located in Willoughby, Ohio. The role involves maintaining and processing customer credit applications, conducting customer credit analysis, and initiating collection activities.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues they might have
• Monitor customer accounts to avoid overdue accounts
• Maintain the A/R collections module in Circulation and Advertising System(s)
• Distribute A/R aging reports and discuss any arising issues with Circulation and Advertising Managers
• Conduct customer revenue and A/R trend analysis
• Work closely with the Circulation and Advertising Managers on escalating collection actions
• Assist in other accounting tasks as needed
• Initiate communication with customers through calls, emails, faxes, and letters for collection purposes
• Perform customer credit analysis as required
• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Experience in B2B collections is necessary
• Must have skills in Excel
• Knowledge of Excel Formulas is essential
• Proficiency in Excel is required
• Excellent Customer Service skills are a must
