We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in a contract-to-hire role. Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and deposits.
- Manage payroll processing and associated tax filings.
- Generate accurate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Monitor and manage budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
