Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. This role involves managing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. As a Staff Accountant, you will also monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve complex issues in a simple and organized manner.
• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain customer credit records with a high level of detail and organization.
• Utilize advanced-level Excel skills to efficiently manage data and information.
• Work with ERP systems and databases, including NetSuite, to manage customer accounts.
• Have a thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures (P& L, B/S, Journal Entries) to ensure accurate financial records.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
• Display strong communication and organizational skills in all interactions.
• Work both independently and in a team environment, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
• Maintain a sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure. • Possess knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in Bank Reconciliations
• Familiar with General Ledger management
• Able to prepare and manage Journal Entries
• Experience in Month End Close procedures
• Proficient in using NetSuite and Oracle
• Experience in using QuickBooks and SAP
• Knowledgeable in US GAAP
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
