Substation - Project Engineer III

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Substation Project Engineer III. As a Substation Project Engineer III, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and implementation of substations to ensure the reliable and efficient transmission and distribution of electrical power.

You will lead and manage substation projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage substation projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion within budgetary constraints
  • Performs and/or directs the preparation of complex project documents including specifications and bid documents
  • Mentor junior engineers, designers, CAD operators on candidate"s team
  • Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems, transmission, and distribution networks
