Pharmacy Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Review invoices and ensure they are submitted in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with clinical pharmacy manager to analyze trends in medication purchasing and utilization.
- Participate in monthly review of budget variances to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in developing budgets for new contracts.
- Communicate forecast changes, variances, and areas of risk.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- 1-3 years of experience required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Must possess strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, the ability to problem-solve, and working independently with minimal supervision are all necessary.
