Asset Manager Analyst
Overview:
The Asset Manager Analyst assists, develops, and implements best practices to the market rate, affordable, and student housing communities. The Asset Manager Analyst will assist with day-to-day functions with the objective of enhancing the underlying performance of the Asset Management Department to achieve the economic goals of Gilbane Development Company.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on the financial data of operational portfolio
- Forecast and analyze trends of existing portfolio conditions
- Manage property budgets and proformas
- Assist in financial closings and due diligence
- Participate in the review of new deals/transactions
- Evaluate and track the performance of completed projects and asset dispositions against benchmarks, hurdles and original underwriting projections
- Ad Hoc analysis as needed
- Invoice processing
- Assist working group with relocations
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE- Bachelor’s Degree required, Real Estate, Accounting or Finance preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar position
- Proven style of being proactive and multitasking among various projects and assets with organized, methodical system
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, time-management and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to maintain professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and on teams in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- RealPage experience a plus
- Occassional travel required
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
For Arlington, VA this ranges from $85,100.00 - $117,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
