You will also play a crucial role in cost accounting, handling DCAA reporting requirements, and supervising the Accounts Receivable team.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline financial reporting through automation
• Supervise and develop the skill set of the Accounts Receivables Specialist
• Ensure effective communication within the company by developing strong working relationships with other departments
• Execute balance sheet reconciliations with precision
• Oversee and approve invoicing and cash receipts
• Take charge of project setup and billing
• Approve new customer terms to ensure smooth financial operations
• Lead monthly financial close activities
• Prepare internal reporting packages to keep all stakeholders informed
• Handle Cost Accounting tasks with diligence
• Oversee DCAA reporting requirements including the Incurred Cost Submission
• Manage the Travel and Expense Platform (currently Concur)
• Ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met. • The candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of accounting.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a key requirement for this role.
• Applicants should be well-versed in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• The ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is essential.
• The candidate must have experience with General Ledger management.
• Proficiency in preparing and managing Journal Entries is necessary.
• The candidate must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel.
• A strong understanding of Month End Close procedures is required.
• Experience with Costpoint - Deltek software is a significant advantage for this role.
