Senior Accountant

A well-established and highly successful trading organization is currently seeking to add a Senior Accountant to their talented team.
Responsibilities of this position will include:
- Executing internal control documentation and assessments of the organization
- Reviewing financial closing and reporting processes and collaborating with management to address deficiencies
- Conducting test of operating effectiveness for financial closing and reporting process
- Assisting with design and development of internal control program and risk mitigating plans
- Researching new accounting pronouncements and assisting with development of new policies and procedures
- Handling additional responsibilities as necessary
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of experience
- Public accounting background, preferably Big 4 experience
- Must have experience with internal controls, and full-cycle Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- CPA required
