What you will need:
- Able to obtain a Forklift Certificate.
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an Electrician Trainee, OR equivalent electrician education in lieu of experience.
- Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays depending on business needs.
- Able to work different shifts.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
- Pass preplacement drug/alcohol, physical and functional capacity evaluation.
What will set you apart:
- Ability to determine wire sizes and length of conduit runs.
- Ability to use simple math calculations required for the layout and installation of simple circuits for load centers, motor control centers and protection devices.
- Ability to read and understand simple blueprints, wiring diagrams or verbal instructions normal to the trade.
- Able to identify essential equipment, such as pliers, flat screw drivers, wire stripers…. etc.
